Sweet Brine Slaw


  • 1 small head Red Cabbage

  • 6 tablespoon of Gordy’s Sweet Chips Brine

  • ½ teaspoon Lemon Juice

  • ½ teaspoon Hot Sauce, we like Snake Oil or Sriracha

  • ¼ teaspoon fresh minced Garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon fresh minced Ginger

  • ¼ teaspoon Coriander Seed

  • ¼ teaspoon Yellow Mustard Seed

  • ¼ teaspoon White Pepper

  • 1/8 teaspoon Celery Seed

Cooking Instructions

  • Wash and remove outer layers of a small head of cabbage. Cut cabbage in quarters and remove core. Shred each quarter into thin strips, then place in a large bowl.

  • In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and whisk together.

  • Drizzle the liquid mixture over the cabbage and toss together until coated, then cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
