Spicy Thai Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. freshly grated Ginger

  • 1 Garlic clove, smashed

  • 1 tsp. Sugar

  • 2 tbsp. Fish Sauce

  • 2 tbsp. Cilantro, chopped small

  • 2 tbsp. Thai Basil, chopped small

  • 3/4 lb. ground Pork

  • 3/4 lb. ground Beef

  • 25 Gordy’s Thai Basil Jalapeños (about 1/3 cup), chopped

  • 2 tbsp. dark Sesame Oil

  • 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

Cooking Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mash the ginger, garlic, and sugar into a paste. Stir in the fish sauce, cilantro and basil

  • Add beef and pork and combine well. Fold in Gordy’s Thai Basil Jalapeños.

  • For into 4 patties then refrigerate for 20 minutes

  • Combine oils and lightly brush over burgers and buns. Cook by preferred method, grill or stovetop, until medium rare.
